National Road Safety Week 2020

Everyone who travels and work on the roads throughout Australia deserves to arrive home safely.

Including those most vulnerable who are involved in providing traffic control, site workers and maintenance crews whose jobs are in harm’s way every day.

Sadly, Every year, according to The National Road Safety Week approximately 1200 people are killed and another 44,000* are seriously injured on Australian roads. This is an alarming amount

So how can you help?

You can help by making the pledge to drive safe and;

  • Remove distractions
  • Do not use mobile phones while driving
  • Do not drive while tired or under the influence of alcohol/drugs
  • Stay within speed limits
  • Protect vulnerable road users, including road workers and give them space to perform their duties
